Volunteer

Become a volunteer & help us continue to serve children and families of the Central Valley. It's with your involvement that we are able to continue operating throughout the year. Just complete the online volunteer application & click submit to be considered for volunteer work at Reading and Beyond.

During the school year, we have a great need for volunteer reading tutors. These volunteers are paired with one child to tutor for a period of three months. Reading volunteers are asked to volunteer for one hour, twice a week, during the hours of 2:30-5:00pm. Reading and Beyond provides training for all volunteer tutors and each tutoring site has a site coordinator to provide ongoing support to the volunteers.
