“What a delight to work with two children who love to absorb every new learning opportunity!  Reading And Beyond provides the setting to encourage children to improve their reading skills.  The one-on-one setting enhances the child’s desire to want to learn.  This is a great opportunity for children to learn and love to read.”

Numbers to Think About

The percentage of third grade students that scored below “proficient” in English Language Arts:*

- Fresno Unified
  School District: 69%
- County of Fresno: 60%
- State of California: 57%

Numbers like these are what we’re working against every day.  The mission of Reading And Beyond is to make these grim statistics a thing of the past, to give our children the chance at a better future.  To do this, we need your help...

Our children’s rooms just recently opened, and already there are around 800 children seen per month.  The sites are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  To find out more, please contact:
