College Now

College Prep Program

Based on the research that shows that a college education has a positive and lasting influence on one's family - including increasing one's earning potential - Reading And Beyond has developed the College Now program.

The purpose of College Now is to work with parents to prepare them for college, select the appropriate educational program, register for classes, search for financial aid and affordable child care, and increase their knowledge about other useful services.

Building strong relationships through regular contact has served as a successful strategy in maintaining college enrollment and success.

College Now was launched in November 2008, and is funded by a grant from the Walter S. Johnson Foundation.
