About Us:

Reading and Beyond is a results focused organization and its programs have a track record of being well utilized within the community.
The results and effectiveness of the programs have been recognized by:

• by Fresno Unified School District 
• the United Way.
• The United States Department of Education
• The White House Initiative on Community and Faith Based Programs.

Because of past program results, in 2005 Reading and Beyond was one of only four organizations nationwide to receive a grant to expand its Early Childhood Education Program.  In 2006, Reading and Beyond was given the Salute to Small Business Award by Union Bank of California as Best non-profit. In 2007, Reading and Beyond was the recipient Fresno Magazine’s award for “Best Non-Profit”.

Currently, Reading and Beyond is working in over 16 sites throughout Fresno County and serving over 700 students on a daily basis in our reading-tutoring program, and since 2003 we have provided face-to-face training to over 10,000 parents in Fresno County.
